BIO
Kyle Jackson is a Senior PhD Candidate and CIHR Vanier Scholar from McMaster University in the Department of Chemical Engineering. His research explores the use of viruses as a therapeutic strategy to target bacteria associated with driving disease severity in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. Outside of his research, Kyle has been extensively involved in healthcare entrepreneurship. He has helped startups raise over $2.5M from angel investors and venture capitalists and presently serves as of the Director of Investments at Front Row Ventures, Canada’s leading student-focus venture capital firm.
