Academic entrepreneurship: From research to start-up – Event highlights
Last week we organized the “Academic entrepreneurship: From research to start-up” event, in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, the McMaster Industry Liaison Office (MILO) and the Faculty of Science. The event featured presentations by professors and founders from the Faculties of Science and Engineering who have started companies based on their academic research: OrganoBiotech, Allarta Life Science, FendX Technologies Inc. and MesoMat Inc., as well as external founders from other Ontario Universities: Azane Therapeutics, Tenomix Inc, and Forward Water Technologies.
Thank you to our panelists who engaged in thought-provoking discussions and shared valuable insights. Attendees left with smiles, energized by the positive atmosphere. Enjoy these highlights photos, courtesy of the Faculty of Engineering.
Stay tuned for more exciting events in the coming months! Future events will be posted on our website.
